Plusminus in 4th Wall, der neue Projektraum von Diez Office

Diez Office, das Studio des Designers Stefan Diez, in seinem temporären Raum in München ein Programm interdisziplinärer Projekte. Den Anfang machte Diez’ neue Kollektion Plusminus für Vibia.

Ein ehemaliges Geschäft im Münchner Palais Preysing dient als Ausstellungsort für die experimentelle Serie mit dem Titel 4th Wall, welcher eine Anspielung auf die imaginäre Barriere zwischen den Schauspielern und ihrem Publikum ist.

Die Eröffnungsinstallation Plusminus wurde von Vertretern der örtlichen Presse und Design Profis besucht.

Licht und Materialität vereinend präsentiert sich Plusminus als ein revolutionäres Design: Ein Textilband an dem sich diverse Leuchten anbringen lassen und das Elektrizität leitet und somit das Licht durch den Raum fließen lässt.

Die Kollektion besteht aus einem beeindruckenden Toolkit, welches die Gestaltung personalisierter Effekte ermöglicht, indem das Licht genau dort wo benötigt platziert wird und visuelle Hierarchien in jeglichem Innenraum kreiert werden.

Auf dem Event waren vier verschiedene Plusminus Kompositionen im nackten Raum zu betrachten. Als straff von der Decke bis zum Boden gespannte Installationen, oder lose durch den Raum gesponnene Silhouetten enthüllten sie die bemerkenswerte Vielseitigkeit dieser Kollektion.

Während die Teilnehmer die Installation erkundigten und sich bei Cocktails und Appetizern vergnügten, erläuterte Diez alle Details der Plusminus und den kollaborativen Entstehungsprozess. Nach ihm kamen der CEO von Vibia, Pere Llonch, Robert Thiemann, Chefredakteur des Frame Magazines, zu Wort, und schließlich Philipp Nitsche, Geschäftsführer des Cocon Real Estate.

Die Plusminus Ausstellung wird vorübergehend an besagtem Ort bleiben.
