Designers Select Vibia’s Duo Lamp for Bratislava Apartment

Designed by local firm AT26 architects, a high-rise apartment in Bratislava, Slovakia, is distinguished by sweeping city views and contemporary élan. A mix of organic oak floors and cabinetry, grey brick walls, and white surfaces creates a cohesive colour scheme complemented by refined furnishings and lighting—including Vibia’s Duo lamp.

In the living area, Duo in a matte graphite finish illuminates the open-floor layout and nods to the hues of the black bookcase and wooden floor. Its simple, circular silhouette plays counterpoint to the rectilinear décor and exudes an enveloping, soothing sensibility.

In the study, the designers placed another Duo, this one in matte white. Affixed to the ceiling, the lamp seamlessly blends with the room’s ivory walls and oak shelving, integrating into the architecture like a skylight channeling brightness from the outside.
