El ‘Making of ‘de Pin

Cuando el diseñador Ichiro Iwasaki recibió de Vibia el encargo para el diseño de PIN, era consciente del ritmo vertiginoso de los cambios tecnológicos que caracterizan la vida moderna. Partiendo de esta reflexión, la colección busca una continuidad entre los aspectos familiares de la iluminación tradicional y la funcionalidad de la rutina diaria, beneficiándose de los grandes avances tecnológicos logrados en la iluminación durante los últimos años.

 

 

La colección Pin incluye versiones de sobremesa, pie y de pared. Todas ellas combinan una tija de silueta delgada, un difusor orientable y una base de soporte circular.

El lenguaje esencial de su diseño es descrito por Iwasaki como un término familiar, comprensible para todos, una luz atemporal compatible con interiores tanto tradicionales como contemporáneos.

La fuente de luz LED está ubicada en el interior de un difusor hemisférico que puede orientarse mediante un ‘pin’ o astilla metálica de manejo confortable, ya que esta tecnología lumínica reduce la emisión de calor.
