Vibia gana la categoría de iluminación con Guise en los Premios de Diseño Archiproducts 2017

Los premios de diseño Archiproducts han seleccionado este año la colección Guise, diseñada por Stefan Diez para Vibia como ganadora en la categoría de Iluminación. Guise es una expresión poética de luz, gracias a una serie de objetos transparentes que emiten un brillo luminoso indirecto; una colección que sintetiza artesanía, luz y nuevas tecnologías. ADA promociona colaboraciones entre diseñadores y marcas, con un especial énfasis en la innovación y la estética. El jurado está compuesto por un equipo seleccionado entre más de 40 estudios de arquitectura, fotógrafos de arquitectura y el personal de Archiproducts. Este año se han presentado más de 600 propuestas de 300 marcas situadas en 15 países de todo el mundo.

Cada uno de los elementos de la colección Guise ofrece tecnología LED combinada con vidrio borosilicatado. La versión en aplique consiste en un disco de cristal con un borde luminoso continuo. Las lámparas de techo -que pueden estar suspendidas vertical u horizontalmente- y las versiones de mesa incluyen estriados grabados en el vidrio, que materializan la luz que lo atraviesa. Estas estrías están realizadas con gran precisión por un robot. Este aspecto, combinado con los discos de vidrio y los tubos, hace de Guise una colección enormemente innovadora. La intensidad de iluminación se controla mediante un sensor de proximidad, que funciona sin necesidad de contacto con el cristal. Precisamente, estas son las cualidades que ADA ha reconocido con la adjudicación de este premio.

El diseño del premio de ADA ha corrido a cargo del estudio español MUT Design Studio y la pieza está realizada en cerámica y metal.

 

La colección Guise se lanzará oficialmente principios de 2018.
