Evolving Tradition: Wireflow Chandelier XL

Evolving Tradition, il leitmotiv della nuova collezione di lampade Vibia, trova la sua espressione più audace e dal maggiore impatto visivo nel Wireflow Chandelier, una serie di lampade a sospensione create da Arik Levy. Una moderna reinterpretazione del tradizionale lampadario a bracci che ridefinisce il minimalismo riducendo il lampadario stesso ai suoi elementi essenziali, soluzione resa possibile dalla tecnologia LED che va a creare una scultura geometrica di luce e fili sospesi nello spazio.

 

Il Medioevo ne ha segnato la nascita, successivamente i francesi lo hanno battezzato Chandelier. Da anni è e continua ad essere un elemento importante in tutti i nostri progetti, a volte cerchiamo oggetti di puro antiquariato con un carattere più spiccato di design. Al giorno d’oggi possiamo assaporare vere e proprie opere d’arte, sembrano sculture che giorno dopo giorno riaffermano la loro presenza nei nostri spazi. Donano un tocco particolare, creano una meravigliosa atmosfera.

Architetti e designer stanno riscoprendo l’importanza dello spazio, la generosità e l’eleganza di soffitti alti e interni diafani, espressi così magistralmente negli edifici neoclassici che ancora oggi sono attuali. Questi sono i perfetti ricettacoli per sistemi di illuminazione quali Wireflow, in cui si evince che il passato non va imitato, bensì va fatto evolvere verso il futuro, creando gli spazi del XXI secolo.

 

Una volta, i lampadari a bracci venivano installati quasi esclusivamente in sale da pranzo formali e palazzi. Oggigiorno, vengono utilizzati in camere da letto, bagni, cucine, negozi, uffici, ecc… potremmo dire ovunque.

La bellezza trascendentale del lampadario a bracci non è più appannaggio dei palazzi aristocratici, adesso anche le nostre case e le aree pubbliche possono essere illuminate da lampade particolari che abitano lo spazio, tracciando le loro geometrie all’interno di quei volumi che sono lo sfondo delle nostre vite contemporanee, lampadari quali Wireflow Chandelier.
