Minimalism and comfort: Vibia lights up a restaurant with view of Florida

Contemporary design meets romanticism at the WACO Kitchen, the new restaurant located at Lakeland Linder International Airport, Florida. Designed by the architecture and engineering firm Ghafari Associates, this farm-to-table space offers a unique experience with Vibia luminaires taking center stage.

Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the endless runways, warm hues and a Nordic-inspired interior design imbue this new meeting point with a minimalist yet cozy touch, inviting passengers and onlookers to take a seat and calmly contemplate the landscape.

Shaping a geometric silhouette as it descends from the ceiling, a set of Tempo pendant lamps illuminates the sidebar and part of the restaurant’s tables.

Designed by Lievore Altherr, the contrast between the round blown glass bulb and the black aluminum diffuser perfectly blends with the surrounding architectural elements, casting a pleasant lighting effect for customers to enjoy the delicacies in the menu.

A romantic cascade of light composed of different Slim hanging lamps by Jordi Vilardell presides the bar. Its fine and slender black branches suspended in the air project a soft accent light on the white marble. An elegant and sculptural setting that immediately turns heads.

At the top of the hall, a group of Domo ceiling lamps are arranged creating a constellation of light. Combining pure lines and a matt white lacquer finish, the Ramos & Bassols collection illuminates the transit area and at the same time enhances an atmosphere of dynamism and comfort around.
