Vibia The Edit - Plusminus installation in Frankfurt

Plusminus reveals its potential at an installation in Frankfurt

Four years after it was last held, Light + Building returns to Frankfurt this autumn, from October 2-6. Organized by Messe Frankfurt Gmbh, the world’s leading trade fair in the fields of lighting and construction, it will showcase the new products in the sector, focusing on avant-garde technological ranges, intelligent and connected systems and the latest trends in design.

In the framework of this international event, Vibia presents a Plusminus installation designed for Badias restaurant, located in the heart of the city’s old quarter. The Diez Office team that has conceived this innovative lighting system has fashioned a romantic cascade of light for the main room of the restaurant.

The installation will be inaugurated on October 4, 2022, next, at an event open to the public from 8.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m., and will remain open for a year. We look forward to welcoming you!

Meridiano: when furniture meets lighting

With its combination of spheres of glass and conical shades suspended like trapeze artists, the composition bathes the space in a delicate and sophisticated light, capturing the gazes of the restaurant’s diners and merging perfectly with the surrounding interior design to create a sense of well-being and comfort.

A contemporary reinterpretation of the concept of light rails, the Plusminus system consists of a flexible fabric belt with conducting fibres. Thanks to its click & connect function, it allows for the installation of all sorts of luminaries and the tracing of customised patterns of light.

Plusminus is expected to be released later this year in US and Canada.
